So. Much. Fucking. Snow. We're not going to be able to leave the apartment for like a week. Winter, I officially hate you. The only thing that could be worse was if we'd lost the fucking power. |

Coming back after spending a glorious week on a warm, sandy beach makes me hate the cold all the more. That's one thing you don't have to worry about in the Bahamas-snow storms. So glad we missed out on all that crap. Hope no one who had to endure it didn't freeze to death. |

Thank you, Lifetime, for airing a segment of Unsolved Mysteries focusing on Anastasia and reminding us how much fiction differs from history. But did you really have to show the reenactment of the family getting gunned down by the Bolsheviks over and over? It's a little discomfiting, regardless of whether or not my particular headmate escaped that fate. Almost makes me want to punch something. |

I should probably be grateful for having a headmate who didn't cause me to miss all my classes last week. Or even work, for that matter. The only thing Anya cost me was a few tips on account of mouthing off to a customer. Apparently he was eying my/our rack a little too closely, though, so I'll let her have that one. |

Alright, amnesia is one thing. I've done the complete loss of memory thing. But to completely lose Savannah? Now that's an entirely different story. Doesn't look like it's just me, though, and I don't know whether to find that comforting or not. |

I don't know what everyone's making such a big deal about. Then again, maybe I'm one of the few who didn't have an overly-active voice in my head. Or, you know, one of the few who successfully managed to tune them out for the most part. Maybe even one of the select few who got along so well with their headmate that I hardly realized she was there.
Oh, who am I fucking kidding? This is just plain weird. Anyone have any clue whether this is permanent or not? |

Having animated royalty in your head can be a real bitch. Even when they don't realize they're royalty for like half their life. Then again, even as an amnesic orphan, Anya could still be haughty as hell. Still can be. Thankfully, I'm not like that at all. Nope, not even the slightest bit. |

There had better be a pandemic going around this city, the way people keep on calling out at work. So much for a night off. Oh, well, maybe I'll make my own fun. Swap some customers' drinks when they aren't looking. |

The worst thing about having a fictionalized version of an actual historical figure for a headmate? You're always fighting the constant urge to blurt, "That's SO not how it happened," aloud when faced with the 'real' story. I need to learn to start staying away from any course concerning Russian history. |

First week of the semester, and I already feel like I'm drowning in books. Maybe I'll be able to sneak a couple under the bar and read them when we're not busy at the club.
Which reminds me: Margo, the boss wants you to cover for Trisha tomorrow night. Don't shoot the messenger. |
